A weather system moving over the Great Lakes might result in a wet holiday weekend, potentially bringing along some thunderstorms as well. This comes after five sunny days. You could say it's the cost we have to bear.
On Friday, the day begins mostly clear with temperatures reaching up to 28°C, giving a humidex of 33°C and a UV index at a very high level of 8. By late afternoon, there's potential for a thunderstorm, followed by cooler conditions dipping down to around 17°C during the night.
The cycle recurs on Saturdays and Sundays with scattered showers, a chance of thunderstorms, and high humidity levels. As for Monday, predictions become less reliable this far out, but expect moderately temperate conditions along with additional rainfall.
